This year at Hillhead, we will be displaying our complete self-service touchscreen kiosk, ‘Herbst Hippo’, which has been designed specifically in conjunction with the Quarry, Concrete, Agri & Aggregate industries. Many businesses to date have taken advantage of this complete self service kiosk.
This kiosk provides complete ‘self-service’ for the driver where the weighbridges link directly with our Herbst system meaning drivers can weigh in/out and print tickets on the spot without any intervention from the back office. The driver doesn’t even have to leave his cab and the whole process takes less than one minute!
We know that the weather conditions in Ireland and the UK can be less than accommodating to say the least! Keeping that in mind, we have designed our touch screen, self-service kiosks featuring a rugged stainless-steel design with a waterproof anti-glare touchscreen. They are corrosion resistant, low maintenance and have excellent fatigue, impact, wear and abrasion resistance. This means that our Kiosks are safe to use and suitable for every weather condition – rain, sleet or snow!
Our integrated weighbridge module will allow you to delegate without losing control and help prevent some of the frequent and costly mistakes that can happen in a busy weighbridge environment. It can be customized as manual or automatic, and fully integrates with our core software system and your accounts. With this solution, you will be able to convert weigh documents to invoices, automatically enforce credit control, check and authorise weight documents for invoicing and much more. Additionally, you can also use the weighbridge module for sales, purchases, weigh only, as well as for updating the warehouse.
A unique feature for quarry, concrete and aggregates is the ability to relay date/time stamped events back with the video footage of what occurred throughout the day including: delivery and receipt documents, vehicles in and out, weighbridge events, and more.
Herbst Trucker is a mobile solution which allows drivers to conduct their vehicle safety checks, create routing sheets with orders and dispatch details, and capture signatures via e-dockets, all in real-time.
From pickup to delivery, you can keep your team and your clients up to date with the current location of a delivery, ETA, proof of delivery and assurance that all your vehicles are safe and properly maintained.
